Johnny A. Thompson, age 75, of Lebanon, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1949 in Doniphan, Missouri the son of Henry Neal Thompson and Clara Jean (Butler) Thompson.
John grew up in Southeast Missouri and later moved to and attended school in Kansas City. He went on to build a successful career as a master carpenter, dedicating more than thirty-five years to his craft. In recent years, he made his home in Lebanon.
A true outdoorsman, John found joy in nature—spending countless hours fishing, hunting, and exploring the great outdoors. His love for life and the natural world left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
John will be deeply missed by his siblings and extended family, who will forever cherish his memory.
Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
