Joyce Kathleen (Lutjen) Webb, 77, of Kansas City, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City. Joyce was born on November 1, 1947 in Independence, Missouri, to Roy and Ella (Ehlers) Lutjen, and joined by her two sisters, Mary and Jan (Janice) shortly after. She attended grade and intermediate school in Sedalia, Missouri, and graduated from Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1966.

Joyce lived in Kansas City, Missouri, for the majority of her life and in her home for over 50 years. She worked at GEHA for nearly 40 years as a computer operator and retired at 62 years of age - and she was very proud of her career and long tenure there. She had a love for dogs, enjoyed going often to the casinos with her many lady friends, and enjoyed travel. Joyce truly had a heart of gold, helped so many, and gave her time and resources to various causes close to her heart. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a great laugh, and was known for her generosity, thoughtfulness and her tenacious attitude.

Joyce leaves behind her sister Mary (Lutjen) Smith and her two nephews John William Crabb (Dani) and Jeffery Michael Crabb, her aunt Beverly Henning, and many cousins and relatives in and near Cole Camp, Missouri. Our family extends a special thank you to her in-home caretaker Tarah Wright.

A family graveside service will be held at Memorial Cemetery in Cole Camp, Missouri, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with family to share a meal and memories immediately following.

Joyce will be missed and remembered fondly in the many lives she touched. May she be at rest in Eternal Peace.

In lieu of flowers, Joyce would have appreciated donations to The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) at PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 or www.aspca.org, The OCRA (Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance) at PO Box 32141, New York, NY 100987-2141 or www.ocrahope.org, or to Memorial Cemetery for grounds keeping and maintenance in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
