Judith E. McKelvey

Judith E. McKelvey, age 85, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Lincoln Community Care Center. She was born on April 4, 1940, in Brice County, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd and Virginia (Trump) Smith.

Judith graduated from Gower High School in Gower, Missouri, and later married Jack McKelvey. They made their home in Ballard, Missouri, where Judith worked as a bus driver for the Ballard School District. In 1986, Jack preceded her in death. Judith later moved to Belton, Missouri, and eventually settled in Warsaw in 2019. She loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing.

In addition to her husband Jack and her parents, Floyd and Virginia, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie McKelvey-Ward, in October 2024, and by her brother, Larry Smith.

Judith is survived by her son, Michael McKelvey, and his wife, Donna, of Warsaw; seven grandchildren—Emily, Jack, Brodie, Brice, Paige, Brad, and DJ; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
