Judy Sharon Tucker, 76, of Cole Camp, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was born on February 25, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Jewell E. and Eula C. (Cone) Brown.

Judy grew up in Lakeview Heights, graduated eighth grade from the Lutheran School Association and graduated from Benton County R1 in Cole Camp in 1967. While in high school, she was her class secretary and reporter, was the Carnival and Tattler Queen, and was a member of pep club, girls glee, choir, and band. She also played volleyball and was in the junior play. After high school she attended the Sedalia School of Cosmetology and worked as a beautician in Cole Camp.
It was during high school that she met David Tucker and the couple were united in marriage on June 13, 1970, at United Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. The couple honeymooned in Branson. While David was in the US Army, Judy moved with him to Georgia, Alabama, and Germany. This union was blessed with two children, Tammy and L. Eric.

In 1980, they moved back to Cole Camp, where she was a member of United Lutheran Church. She worked as a beautician at The Head Shed in Stover with Mary Heimsoth and Carol Shadwick. Judy retired in 2016 but she didn't slow down. She spent time watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed being with her pugs, Penny, Mitsy, and Pugsy, and loved growing flowers and decorating with them. She also enjoyed taking trips, her favorite was to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee.

She loved family get-togethers and spending Thanksgiving in Branson. Judy never missed an opportunity to go shopping. She enjoyed the Cole Camp Fair, especially the Baby Show.

She is survived by her husband L. David Tucker of the home; son, L. Eric Tucker and Lorenda of Cole Camp; daughter, Tammy Thompson and Tim of Cole Camp; grandchildren, Ashton Dixon and Shane, Matthew Thompson and Shallie, Rachel Staus and Austin, L. Dalton Tucker and Katie, Karlie Tucker and Josh, and Alexis Tucker; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Dixon, Alivia Thompson, Gentry Thompson, Ronan Thompson, Roland Thompson, Grayson Staus, Jonah Staus, Noella Staus, Isaiah Staus, Wyatt Tucker, Raelynn Tucker, Sebastian Gaddy, and Georgia Gaddy.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Eula Brown, and sister, Darlene Anderson.
