Warsaw High School track has two athletes moving on to the MSHSAA Class 3 Sectional round to be held at Warrensburg this Saturday, May 20.
Angela Konopasek will represent the Wildcats in the 100m Hurdles and Kaleb Ragle will run in the 800m.
Several other athletes came very close to moving on with great performances on the day.
Fisher Love finished 5th in Triple Jump and 7th in Long Jump, Nate Banfield came in 5th in the Javelin, Konopasek also placed 5th in the 300m Hurdles. The boy's 4x800m team finished 6th, Naomi Yoder was 8th in the 400m Dash, and Anthony Rogers was 8th in the High Jump.
The district round put a close to the season for all Wildcats tracksters with the exception of Konopasek and Ragle.
