It wasn't the way Lincoln would have liked to have opened their brand new gymnasium to athletic competition but on Monday night the Lincoln Lady Cardinals lost to Chilhowee in three sets in volleyball action.

After losing on the road to Warsaw 3-0 and at Archie 3-0, the Lady Cardinals were hoping to reverse their fortunes.

On the positive side, their new scoreboard treated the fans to highlights never seen before in Lincoln.

Lincoln is balanced with four seniors, four juniors, four sophomores and four freshmen. They should improve over time.
