The Ladycats quickness was just too much for Lacquey as Warsaw used their most convincing win of the season to take the third place prize on Saturday at the 2024 Doug Loehr Holiday Classic basketball tournament in Weaubleau, 69-19.
The Ladycats held Lacquey to just one field goal in the first half, taking a 44-6 lead into the locker room at halftime, behind Keira Mostaffa's 20 first half points.
A 25-13 margin in the second half was good enough for Warsaw to cruise to the 69-19 final and secure their second trophy of the 2024-25 season in as many events.
Mostaffa led the scoring for the Ladycats with 20. Tanna Howe had 17 for the Ladycats while Jenna Gerken also jumped in with 10.
