Lester Martin Fish, age 61, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 22, 1964, in Syracuse, New York, the son of Lester Lane Fish and Judith (Thompson) Fish.
Lester grew up and attended high school in Syracuse and went on to attend Syracuse University. He later moved to New York City, where he worked for several years as a licensed barber. He also was employed for many years as a truck driver.
In 1989, Lester met the love of his life, Gloria Grimes. They were united in marriage in 1998. Together they made their home in New York City before later returning to Syracuse. In February of 2023, they moved to Warsaw, Missouri, where Lester co-owned Fish’s Mobile Detailing, with his wife, proudly serving the Warsaw community and surrounding areas.
Lester had a passion for the outdoors and staying active. He enjoyed both water skiing and snow skiing, as well as snowboarding, biking, and running. He also loved riding his motorcycle and cherished the time he spent with family and friends.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the Jay Harris Council of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Lester is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Fish, of the home; one brother, Kenneth Fish of Colorado; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Gail Grimes, of Warsaw; two nephews, David J. Grimes and his wife Rachael, of Clinton, Iowa and Jim Grimes, of Paola, Kansas, a niece, Teresa Markos and her husband Geoff, of Leavenworth, Kansas, along with numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Warsaw. Arrangements are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw.
