Dear Editor,
It's been a challenging two weeks since the inauguration with Executive Order's that will adversely affect us and our neighbors life. But the one thing that is extremely concerning are the 19-24 year old engineers who helped Elon Musk participate in the largest breach of personal and financial data in history. They hacked into federal agencies, locking out government officials, and accessing data and transferring it to external hard drives.
Musk now controls the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and General Services Administration (GSA), and have gained access to the Treasury Department’s payment system, giving him access to highly sensitive and confidential information on every single person that has Social Security and Medicare. He also has access to a vast number of businesses that work for the government - some who compete against Musk's businesses.
To be clear, Musk has zero legal authority. He has zero Constitutional right or privilege. He does not have security clearance.
We urge you and your readers to contact their elected representatives and ask what they're doing to protect their constituents.
