Lincoln Rolls By Smithton To Stay Perfect At 20-0

The Lincoln boys, seeded first, overwhelmed ninth seeded Smithton in first round play of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament, 61-32 on Saturday afternoon in Sedalia on the campus of State Fair Community College.
Smithton won the play-in game over eighth seeded Windsor on Friday in Windsor.
Lincoln played their subs in the second half. Coach Tyler Burke had been wanting more minutes for his younger players and the recent three game spread have provided him with that opportunity.
Mack Hesse went 8-8 with 16 points and three blocks in the first half as all five starters took a seat in the second half.
On Tuesday, Lincoln will have hopefully played Sacred Heart, weather permitting. Sacred Heart beat Cole Camp, 45-44 to earn the honors. Lincoln had to come from behind to defeat the Gremlins in Lincoln just a week ago.
