Local Entrepreneur Brings Bodacious Plan To Warsaw

Tiffany Hill has been a part-time real estate agent with Keller Williams for the past six years. She also works at Rick’s Oar House as bar manager, and started her own business called “Bodacious Bites food delivery service” last winter. She is a busy lady with the goal of working hard to build her new food delivery service while gradually leaving behind her work at the bar.

“I prepare foods with a 1980s mantra,” said Hill. “They are homestyle meals and individual meals that change periodically. Last winter I tried a lot of different entrees and now am cooking some new stuff. I have been in Warsaw for 15 years and have seen restaurants come and go. I love to cook and want to be beneficial and convenient to people who need or want home deliveries. I live in a retirement community and some residents are homebound or do not have a lot to live on. Some of the favorite foods that are ordered include Philly cheese potatoes which are so big they can be split into two meals. Soups are also popular, especially in cold weather. Some favorite soups of my customers are chicken tortilla, broccoli cheese and loaded potato. Brown butter chicken and meat loaf are also popular meals.”

Hill said that she is not a baker, so last year she collaborated with local bakers to get fried pies, cakes and cupcakes. Last year she also provided bread with soups, but not everybody liked bread because it did not taste its best when reheated after delivery.

Hill once sold Texarkana Salsa at farmers markets which got her into the aspect of food preparation and sales. She posted her food on Facebook and people began asking for recipes. She made up a menu to see what caught on and she liked doing it.

“Every house has a heart and mine is the kitchen,” said Hill.

She worked in the restaurant business for 23 years while living in California and it is where she met her (now divorced) husband. He was originally from Warsaw and that was the reason the family moved to the local area. She has two daughters, Addie, 15, and Alia, 9. The older daughter is a varsity cheer leader, and is in madrigal, bell choir, 4H, dance and journalism. Hill says her nine-year-old daughter is a firecracker, into baseball, and who is every bit of her mother without the filter.

Hill plans to continue her real estate job on a full-time basis in 2025. She is ready to move on from working in bars and restaurants and being a server. She spends free time with her kids and during the winter she makes it a point to take them to their activities. She also likes to travel and hang out with friends.
