Lonnie White, age 73, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

He was born on August 13, 1952, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Dale D. White and Dorothy L. (Sherman) White. He grew up in Independence and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting on September 7, 1971. Following his retirement in 2017, he and Giny relocated to Warsaw to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the Lake of the Ozarks.

Lonnie was an avid fisherman who treasured spending time on the lake. He also had a remarkable talent for woodworking and found great joy in creating handcrafted toys for his grandchildren, as well as beautiful chess boards and furniture that will continue to be cherished by family and friends for years to come. He will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his love of family, and the quiet generosity he shared through the things he built with his hands.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Dorothy White, and his brother, Mitch White.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Virginia "Giny" White, of the home; three children, Shawn Baker (Angela Griffin) of Independence, Missouri, Scott Eugene White (Andi Chapman) of Independence, Missouri, and Sheri L.
