Nancy A. Kendrick, age 71, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
She was born on March 11, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Alex and Velma Smith. Nancy spent her early years growing up in Jamestown, New York, before making her home in Warsaw in the mid-1980s, where she became a well-known and cherished member of the community.
Nancy was a talented cook and took great pride in her work. Over the years, she shared her gift with many while working at Chuckwagon BBQ and Long Shoal Marina, where she built lasting friendships and was known for her warm spirit and delicious meals.
On June 21, 1996, she was united in marriage to Jody Kendrick. Together, they shared a love for riding motorcycles and spent many happy evenings gathered around the campfire with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured by those who knew them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Jody Kendrick, on March 14, 2024; her son, Wilbert Glover; and her brother, Marty Smith.
Nancy is survived by her son, Rob Glover and his wife, Rose, of Warsaw; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Strickroth, of Bemus Point, New York; her brother-in-law, Dwaine Kendrick and his wife, Robyn, of Warsaw; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw, Missouri.
