Nora Bell Goodyear, age 78, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
She was born on October 16, 1947, in Parma, Missouri, the daughter of Jasper Ray Woolsey and Oma Marie (Cox) Woolsey. Nora was raised in Parma and was a graduate of Parma High School.
On February 3, 1967, she was united in marriage to James Goodyear. Following their marriage, they made their home in St. Louis and later in Grey Summit. Nora was employed with the Welfare Division of the State of Missouri, where she dedicated more than forty years of service before retiring. After retirement, Nora and Jim moved to Table Rock Lake and, in 1995, settled in Warsaw.
Nora greatly enjoyed spending time with Jim, especially hunting and fishing together.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Goodyear, of the home; one daughter, Jackie Buecker and her husband Tim, of Jonesburg, Missouri; two grandchildren, Timothy Buecker and his wife Kristi, of Wright City, Missouri, and Tyler Buecker, of Jonesburg, Missouri; and one great-grandson, Levi.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw, Missouri.
