This dip recipe is a quick and easy favorite. I always remember my friend JD contacting me about a recipe from the paper, he couldn’t remember the recipe but he did remember it only had three ingredients. I was even more pathetic since I had no idea what it was and I had written the article! Anyway, this could qualify for a JD special. Quick to make and with the simplicity of three ingredients which I usually have on hand.

5 ounces of grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 (16 ounce) container of sour cream
¾ cup mild chunky salsa (I use Pace for this)

Mix together, add salt if needed, best to refrigerate for an hour to let flavors meld.

I have served this with chips, but it is also very good with veggies; carrot and celery sticks, broccoli and cauliflower bites and jicama slices.
