Patricia A. Kosecher, age 88, of Edwards, Missouri, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home.
She was born March 11, 1937, in Harmony Township in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Charles Albert Welch and Sadie (McNulty) Welch. She grew up in Susquehanna County and graduated from high school there.
Pat went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in accounting. Demonstrating her lifelong love of learning, she later returned to school and, at the age of 77, earned a second degree as a paralegal.
Pat was employed by General Electric, as an accountant, then working her way up to be an executive. She traveled the United States and the world negotiating contracts for General Electric.
She was united in marriage to Joseph M. Kosecher. Together they raised their family in Apalachin, New York, eventually retiring to Sarasota, Florida.
In 2021, Pat moved to Edwards, Missouri, to be closer to family as her health declined.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Albert Welch and Sally (Sadie McNulty) Welch, a sister, Marion Bodewald and a brother, Albert Welch.
She is survived by four daughters: Susan Wells (Bobby Dene), Lori Ann Mignacci (Bernie), Kathleen Marie Kosecher, and Margaret Jo Kosecher; three brothers: Roger Welch, Charles Welch, and Timothy Welch; a sister, Sally Welch; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A private burial of Pat and Joe’s remains will be held at a later date.
Arrangements for her cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw, Missouri.
