On August 8, 2024, 17 P.E.O. members gathered at the Rotary Building for Chapter IU’s monthly meeting. The gracious hostesses, Judy McVeigh and Brenda Elliott, beautifully decorated the venue with back-to-school-themed adornments and provided delicious refreshments.
The evening’s highlight was an informative presentation by Dr. Rob Wetzel on the crucial topic of women’s health screenings. Dr. Wetzel generously shared valuable insights and recommendations, including both official guidelines and his personal expertise, to assist women in maintaining optimal health. He expertly covered essential topics such as breast screenings, hormone therapy replacement, and colon cancer screenings, providing clarity and valuable information to the attendees.
