Robert Charles Vedder 86 of Warsaw, Missouri passed into eternal life on 11-9-24.

Robert was born first of twins on flag day in 1938 to Robert H. Vedder and Doris L Vedder (Nee Evans) in Kansas City. Graduated from Center High School in 1957 and studied accounting at Rockhurst College. Subsequently, he worked in the accounting departments at General Electric, Food Barn and United Bakers in Kansas City fully retiring in 2005.

Robert moved to Warsaw in 2000 where he was in his shining element generating so many new friends in his various endeavors. He was well known on the regional karaoke circuit serving as the KJ legendary Bob Vee until the pandemic forced permanent retirement. Besides singing he also for many years thoroughly enjoyed his weekly Sunday ritual of playing cards with former Warsaw residents Ray and Julie Brooks, bingo with the morning McDonalds and the Senior Center lunch crowd in his later years. Robert also served on the Board of directors of the now defunct Benton County Sewer District No 1 pointing out its corruption and fraud while it was in operation always fighting for the truth and transparency for the people.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, mother, sisters Shirley Baird and Linda Vedder, bother George Vedder former spouse Nancy Marlett Vedder and endeared sister and bother in law Betty Jean (Marlett) and Quentin Bates.

He is survived by his twin brother Richard of Springfield, MO. Sister Donna LeMaster of Nixa, MO. Three children Craig (Libby) Christian and Curtis all from the Kansas City metro area and numerous grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his dedicated long time caring friend Jeff Baldus as well as so many other very close loyal local friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday November 26 at the Warsaw American Legion with services 2-3:30PM with karaoke until 7 PM.
