Robin Burnham, age 67 passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Hospice House of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Robin Kay Burnham was born on January 12, 1957 in Bolivar, Missouri to Junior Stalker and Mable Majors. She left this earth to fly home to her family she has missed for many years surrounded by all who loved her dearly at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Robin fought her illness to the very end. She was able to have a heartwarming call with her family that couldn’t travel as well as spending a very special last day with her son Joey listening to all of her favorite Chris Stapleton and Jamie Johnson songs.
Robin was a very loving and giving person loved by so many. There’s not a person she wouldn’t help. She was such a vibrant, full-of-life woman. Family was everything to her. She absolutely loved every minute she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Even in her sickest days she wanted all her babies. There were many nights her grandchildren were woken up by Grammy to make snow angels before the sun comes up or you may find her out in the yard playing football with all the kids. She loved her nieces and nephews and always cared for them making sure they always had extras like bicycles and such.
She had a love for the Chiefs like no other! She never missed a game and kept her traditions to ensure wins every game day. She loved sewing and crafting of all kinds and listening to country music. She would tell you she is Jamie Johnson’s BIGGEST fan. Her memory will forever live on through Jamie Johnson’s concerts with the story of a lil lady on her wheelchair and her husband with a cane keeping people at a safe distance from his beautiful wife. She wrote Jamie Johnson’s fan page every single day until she couldn’t any longer. Of course you can’t forget her love for the show Outlanders. She watched the entire series 26 times! She was so excited to hear a new season was coming out!! She is the true genuine person everyone should strive to be. We are going to miss her so much!
Survivors include her two children Jimmy Taylor, son Joey and wife Trishia Taylor, grandkids: Matt Patterson, Maston and wife Samantha Taylor, Dakota and wife Raine Taylor, Katy and husband Ryan Stevens, Destiny Taylor, Noah Taylor, Caine Taylor, Bethany Strickland, 6 great grandchildren, two sisters, Sandy Johnson, and Liz Cullison along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband & best friend Richard A Burnham, Sr; dad Junior Stalker, Mom Mable Majors, her brother Ronnie Stalker, sister Harlene Butterworth, brother Rodney Baumgarden, and daughter Mary Brown.
We appreciate all of the love and support we have received during this incredibly difficult time. Mom will be missed by so many, especially those with her to the very end.
