Roger Wayne Blackwell passed away on Tuesday evening May 28, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family.
Roger was born on November 22, 1962 in Appleton City, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, tinkering on old cars and hauling hay. He loved irritating his two sisters, and raising bacon seeds (Pigs) to turn into pork chops to share with his family.
On May 31, 2002 Roger married his forever love Terri Jo Blackwell whom survives him of the home, also surviving are his two sons Johnathon Wayne Blackwell, Jacob Eugene Blackwell (wife Heather), two stepdaughters Amanda Miles (husband Robbie), Kelli Carter (husband Glen), his two sisters Scherri Bigler (husband Fred) and Debbie Jerome, 14 grandchildren and a bunch of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is his Grandpa John Blackwell, his grandma Annalee Blackwell, his father Jackie Wayne Blackwell, son Justin Allen Blackwell, and brother-in-law Gene Jerome.
A Celebration of Life was held June 8, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with Pastor Tome Waller officiating.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
