The Christmas season is in full swing across Benton County. While there have already been several Christmas programs, cantatas, parades, visits with Santa, and other events, there are still plenty more to come, including many church services offered.
The First United Methodist Church of Warsaw will hold Christmas Eve services starting at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening. There will be lots of music as well as communion and a sermon by Rev. Loren Whetsell. First United Methodist Chuch is located just off the square at 154 West Washington Street.
Cedar Grove Baptist Church, located on Highway 7 just outside of Warsaw will host a candlelight service on December 24 at 9:00 PM.
Faith Lutheran Church of Warsaw will be holding a Christmas Eve service at 6:30 PM on Tuesday evening. They are located on the east side of town at 1201 Dogwood Street.
St. Ann Catholic Church will celebrate Mass on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. "Midnight" Mass will begin at 9:30 PM on December 24 while Mass on Christmas Day will be at 8:30 AM. St. Ann is located at 30455 West Dam Access Road in Warsaw.
At Edmonson Baptist Church, there will be a candlelit silent service on Christmas Eve beginning at 6:00 PM. Edmonson Baptist Church can be found at 27109 Hwy H in Lincoln.
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cole Camp will host a Christmas Eve service at 7:00 PM that will include the children's program, Holy Communion and a candlelight service. On Christmas day, services will begin at 10:00 AM. St. Paul's is located at 205 West Jefferson Street in Cole Camp.
Grace Fellowship of Cole Camp will have two candlelight services on December 24. The first will begin at 5:00 PM while the latter will start at 7:00 PM. Grace Fellowship is in Cole Camp at 107 North Boonville Road.
Back in Warsaw, the Warsaw Christian Church will host a Christmas Eve service beginning at 7:00 PM. Warsaw Christian Church is at 320 State Street in Warsaw.
The Knights of Columbus Jay Harris Council #8620, located on Wildcat Drive in Warsaw, will be serving Christmas Dinner again this year from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. This dinner is free of charge and all are welcome. The Knights will be serving their usual delicious Christmas meal consisting of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy and all the Christmas favorites.
