Golfers in costume entered the 3rd Annual Twilight Zone Golf Tournament on Oct. 13 to raise money for Benton County Christmas 4 Kids by the Warsaw Leathernecks Marine Corps League.
"Great fun!" commented several golfers as they putted through a graveyard on one green and a pumpkin patch on another.
The winning team was Drew Bradley, Rodney Bonner, John Ward, and Rich Call.
"We thank our hole sponsors, especially our Superman Sponsors the W.A.R.M. House and the Knights of Columbus and Ladies' Auxiliary, whose generous contributions made this year's event the highest money raised ever!" said Ivan Godsey, tourney director. "And we thank the first, second and third place teams for donating their winnings back to Christmas 4 Kids, bringing the total raised to $7,000."
Please keep dropping your change in the Christmas 4 Kids change jugs at businesses around town. They will continue to buy food and gifts for needy families up until Christmas.
"The need is great this year because of higher prices," said Chanda Chiles, volunteer for Benton County Christmas 4 Kids. "We have more families this year that need a little help."
