Teresa M. Giger, age 70, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her home. She was born on March 1, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Frank Spino and Doris Davis-Bates. Teresa grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Ruskin High School.
Teresa had a warm and welcoming spirit and truly never met a stranger. She loved to chat and could strike up a conversation with anyone, leaving as friends wherever she went. She especially enjoyed gardening and took great pride in caring for her plants. Above all, Teresa cherished spending as much time as possible with her family and friends and granddaughter, creating memories filled with laughter and love.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Roades and his wife, Jessica, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; her brother, Larry Giger, of Pittsburg, Kansas; and her beloved granddaughter, Kennisyn Roades.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street in Warsaw.
