Time To Celebrate! Winners Announced For 4H, FFA Fair

Members of 4-H and FFA clubs from across the county gathered in Lincoln for the annual 4-H & FFA Youth Fair June 29 through July1 to display their projects from the year.
Ribbons of achievement were presented to 4-H and FFA members.  Projects were also selected to represent Benton County at the Missouri State Fair in August.  Royalty crowned at the Fair included:  King Braden Jonson, Queen Montana Jonson, Prince Easton Chamberlin and Princess Alaina Camirand, all of the Lake Creek Lamplighters 4-H Club in Cole Camp.
At the Dog Show on Thursday, Zane Ledbetter of the Turkey Creek Homesteaders won Grand Champion Dog Obedience, Grand Champion Dog Showmanship, Reserve Grand Champion Dog Obedience and a blue ribbon for dog grooming.  Pace Ledbetter won a Clover ribbon for dog grooming. 
On Friday, in the Poultry Show in the Bantam or Call Duck, Male or Female, Klarissa Honea of the Turkey Creek 4-H Club won Grand Champion Duck, Champion Bantam, Poultry Best of Show two blue ribbons and one red ribbon; Karina Honea of the Turkey Creek 4-H Club won Reserve Champion Bantam Duck and a blue ribbon and red ribbon.
Amelia Roberts, All Arounders 4-H Club, won Champion Lightweight Duck and a blue ribbon and Henry Adler, All Arounders 4-H Club, won Reserve Champion Lightweight Duck and a blue ribbon.
Connor Roberts of the All Arounders 4-H Club won Champion Heavyweight Duck and a blue ribbon and a red ribbon.  Roberts also won a blue ribbon for Large Fowl.
Clover Kid ribbons for poultry were presented to Michael Popp of the Lake Creek Lamplighters and Clara Valentine of the Turkey Creek 4-H Club.
Bantam – Pullet under one year:  All Arounders 4-H Club, Henry Adler, blue ribbon; Connor Roberts, blue ribbon; Amelia Roberts, white ribbon.
Standard-Pullet under one year:  blue ribbons Asher Fields, Jakob Boyer, Jason Dieckman; red ribbons, Klarissa Honea, Connor Roberts, Jason Dieckman; white ribbons, Henry Adler, Veroniika Fields, Amelia Roberts, Jason Dieckman.
Standard – Cockerel under one year:  red ribbons, Jason Dieckman, Karina Honea, Klarissa Honea, white ribbon, Jason Dieckman.    
Bantam – Cock over one year:  Klarissa Honea, Champion Bantam Cock; Reserve Bantam Cock, Karina Honea; red ribbons Brandt Madalin and Karina Honea.
Standard-Cock over one year:  Klarissa Honea, Grand Champion Cock and Champion Standard Cock; Connor Roberts, Reserve Champion Standard Cock.  Red ribbons went to Madalin Brandt.
Bantam – Hen over one year, Klarissa Honea, Grand Champion Hen and Champion Bantam Hen.  Red Ribbons went to Klarissa Honea and Karina Honea.
Standard – Hen over one year, Asher Fields, Champion Standard Hen; Jakob Boyer, Reserve Champion Standard Hen; Blue ribbons went to Henry Adler, Veroniika Fields, Klarissa Honea, Karina Honea, Connor Roberts; Red ribbons went to Madalin Brandt, Amelia Roberts and Asher Fields.
One dozen eggs, Grand Champion Kendall McLemore.  Blue ribbon went to Serena Bahrenburg and White Ribbon went to Veroniika Fields.
Meat Pen of Chickens, Asher Fields won Grand Champion.
Layer Production Pen of 3 Laying Hens. Serena Bahjrenburg won Grand Champion.
Veroniika Fields of the Turkey Creek 4-H Club won the Junior Poultry Showmanship and Karina Honea, Turkey Creek 4-H Club, won the Intermediate Poultry Showmanship.
The Rabbit Show was also held on Friday in extreme heat. 
In Purebred Junior Doe, Karina Honea won Reserve Grand Champion Doe and Champion Jr. Doe.  Klarissa Honea won a red ribbon and Madalin Brandt won a white ribbon.
In Crossbred Junior Doe, Asher Fields won a blue ribbon, Titus Fields won a red ribbon and Veroniika Fields won a white ribbon.
In Purebred Senior Doe, Asher Fields won Rabbits Best of Show and Grand Champion Doe and Champion Sr. Doe. Amelia Roberts won blue.  Connor Roberts won red, Madalin Brandt won white.

Junior Swine Showmanship went to Arizona Ingersoll from Stover and Senior Swine Showmanship went to Addie Berry from Green Ridge.
