Trudy Bea Boley, age 75, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
She was born on June 29, 1950, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer William Oldenburg and Ester Elenora (Beers). Trudy grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Truman High School.
Trudy dedicated several years of her career to Blue Springs Cleaners and later worked as a Lead Supervisor at Lake City Arsenal. She was united in marriage to Gary Lee Anderson, who preceded her in death in July of 1975. She later married Galen Paul Boley, and together they made their home in the Kansas City area before relocating to Warsaw in 2015. Trudy and Galen enjoyed their retirement in Warsaw having Libations on their back deck with their Loving Neighbors. Galen preceded her in death in August of 2020. Trudy and Galen were married 44 years.
Trudy lived life with enthusiasm and passion. She was a member of the Phantom Divers and loved scuba diving and spearfishing. She enjoyed bowling in leagues over the years and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Trudy spent countless hours remodeling her home and tending to her garden. She loved playing cards, cooking meals for her family, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and she cherished her large collection of Santa Clauses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one son, Billy Brian Boley; three brothers, William Elmer Oldenburg, Dennis Jay Oldenburg, and Robert James Oldenburg; and one sister, Teri Lee Miller.
Trudy is survived by her five children: Jean Paul Boley of Shell Knob, Missouri; Kimberly Kay Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri; Tracy Ray Boley of Aurora, Missouri; Katrina Dae Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri; and Samuel Cole Boley of Grain Valley, Missouri. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one sister, Debbie Matthews of Carthage, Indiana.
Arrangements for her cremation are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, Missouri.
