Traveling across the state for two wrestling events in one weekend was well worth it for the Wildcats.
On Friday night, Warsaw met in Washington and took on some unfamiliar opponents in Westminster, Affton and St. Francis Borgia.
The Wildcats took down Westminster by a team final of 63.0-17.0 and followed that with a closer win over Affton, 47.0-28.0. They capped the night with another dominating team performance over host St. Francis Borgia, 60.0-12.0.

On Saturday, the boys traveled across town to the Priory Invitational where they put together another great team performance, thrashing the east side of the state.
At the end of the day, the Wildcats led the pack with 197.0 points. They were followed from a considerable distance by Windsor (Imperial) (131.0), Washington (127.0), STEAM Academy (83.0), St. Mary's South Side (79.0), Parkway North (64.5), Wright City (57.5), Veritas Christian Academy HS (56.0), Bishop DuBourg (39.0), Priory (38.0), John Burroughs (19.5) and Principia (16.5).
Jayce Estes, Sean Reinertsen, Johrdan Decker, Bostyn Wilson, Drake Murrell and Josh Harvath all brought home the gold for Warsaw while Brecken Brewster, D'Angelo Ramirez and Manny Henriquez all took bronze finishes.
Estes capped his perfect weekend by securing his 100th career win for the Wildcats in his championship match on Saturday.
