Warsaw Varsity Wildcats lost to Clinton 11-6 at home on Friday.
The visiting Cardinals got on the board in the top of the third inning after Will Golder singled to right field, Kanden Lafarge grounded out, and Warsaw committed an error that led to another run.
Clinton scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. Ryan Lowe and Konnor Uribe both singled to score a run, Golder singled in two and Cody Mitchell singled in the last run.
Ryan Fajen pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for the Wildcats. The righty surrendered five hits and three runs (two earned) while, striking out one and walking three. Josh Bunch stepped on the hill first for Warsaw. The senior righty surrendered seven hits and eight runs (five earned) over three innings, struck out two and walked two.
Sandwiched in between the Cardinals' hits were 10 errors in the contest by the Warsaw defense.
Lowe started on the bump for Clinton. The starter surrendered seven hits and four runs over four and one-third innings, struck out four and walked none.
Brennen Slavens and Kendall Bagley each collected two hits for Warsaw. Logan Gemes, Slavens, Bagley, and Garrett Ferguson each drove in one run for Warsaw.
Clinton piled up 12 hits in the game.

Warsaw led 8-1 early and held on for an 8-5 final ovrer Adrian on Monday night.
Warsaw got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jayce Depriest stole home, and Brennen Slavens walked.
A single by Kendall Bagley extended the y Wildcats lead to 3-0 in the top of the second inning.
Warsaw scored five runs on two hits in the top of the third inning. Sonny Garrett drew a walk to score one run, Drake Murrell doubled in two runs, and Bagley doubled in two runs.

Elijah Hubbard took the loss for Adrian. The starter went one inning, surrendering three runs on one hit, struck out none and walked five.
Depriest tossed one inning of scoreless ball for Warsaw in relief. The pitcher surrendered zero hits, striking out one and walking none.
Kendall Bagley drove the middle of the lineup, leading Warsaw with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2 for 4 on the day. Logan Gemes, Bagley and Murrell each collected two hits for Warsaw.
The Wildcats had patience at the plate, amassing 12 walks for the game. Garrett Ferguson and Jase Hubert led the team with three free passes each.
Bradley Watson picked up 3 stolen bases for the Green and Black while Depriest and Bagley both swiped 2.
Brock Ford led Adrian with two hits in four at bats.
