Cole Camp senior Haidyn Massingill signed a letter of intent to play softball with Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri on Monday at Cole Camp high school. Massingill was an All-Conference, All-District and All-Region second baseman last season for Cole Camp.
She credits her father David and her hitting instructor Eric Flores for much of her success. Her new coach, Jason Ollison, who is well known throughout Benton County, has high hopes for his new player.
Massingill said she chose Lincoln over several other colleges. She said she liked their campus and their softball program.
She plans to pursue business as her major.
