Olga Henrietta Faulstich

Olga Henrietta Faulstich, 96, of Cole Camp, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Lincoln Community Care Center, Lincoln.  She was born on November 27, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Emil Johann and Olga Maria Louisa (Graul) Scheifler.

 

She was baptized and confirmed at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Lemay, Missouri.  On January 22, 1958, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Lemay, she was united in marriage to Charles Walter Faulstich.  They were blessed with four children: Patrick, Andrea, Charles, and Johann.  They lived in Lemay before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska, Knob Noster, Missouri, and Bitburg, Germany.

 

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sedalia.  Olga also worked with her husband and was a bookkeeper for his shop, The Clock Doc near Cole Camp. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her family.  Olga looked forward to fixing crappie as that was her favorite meal.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Boughton and Paul of Ankeny, Iowa; sons, Charles Faulstich and Karen of Versailles and Johann Faulstich and Alison of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Tami Faulstich of Sedalia;           sister, Evelyn Brown of Knightstown, Indiana; six grandchildren, Cherann Folty, Ashley Hopkins, Adam Faultich, Alisha Boughton, Austin Faulstich, and Johnathan Boughton; and four great-grandchildren, Amyanne Lammers, Jakob Huff, Avery Faulstich, and Aiden Faulstich.

 

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Olga Scheifler, husband, Charles Faulstich, son, Patrick Faulstich, sister, Elizabeth Neuenschwander, and brothers, Emil Scheifler and Bill Scheifler.

 

A celebration of Olga's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sedalia with Pastor Jeremy Freeman officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery near Cole Camp.
