Happy Birthday to my daughter-in-law, Bridget as she celebrates her birthday on Tuesday, June 25. Happy Birthday to Carolee Apperson as she celebrates June 24 and that is the date my, Mom Mary Reno Garrison celebrated her birthday. My Mom was born on June 24, 1933, and she would have been 91 years old this year. Happy Birthday to three special ladies.

It is with regret that I mention that a special lady known and loved by many went home Friday evening. Blanche Roark Nichols has had medical problems for a few years and she passed away in the evening. Blanche worked and was really liked by many. She has three daughters; Joyce, Karen, Shirley and a son, Oral. They loved her dearly!

Something interesting with no names mentioned. The Amish neighborhood on Hereford Road held a wedding on Thursday, June 13. It was amazing to watch the number of buggies going on the road the be at this wedding. I am sure is was beautiful!

Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church had church to honor the father's in the church Sunday morning. There was wonderful singing in congregational songs as well as special songs by Claude, Delores and Lighthouse Singers, DoBee, Ken and Brenda. Together, Larry and Ellen did a great one and Dave sang a special. Br. Tony's message was from the book of Mark chapter 16.

Thought for the week: Our children are like mirrors -they reflect our attitudes in all we do! God is like Coca-Cola! HE is the real thing!

Here is hoping everyone reading the Fristoe News has a great week and are safe!
