You have not because u ask not- James 4
People complain about gas prices, the War, the weather, etc. Do they pray about such things? I doubt it. It is easier to complain.
If you want something then pray about it. Not saying you will get it but pray about it. It is hard to pray about everything.
People say if is meant to be then it will happen. Wrong!!!!!!
People say if it is your time to die then you will die. Wrong!!!!!!!!
People say everything happens for a reason.
Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!
People say God can't answer a lost person's prayer. Wrong!!!!!!!!!
People say you make your own luck. Wrong!!!!!!
You have a free will. You can change things.
Hezekiah was told by God he would die. He prayed and received 15 more years of life.
There is no hidden meaning behind insignificant things. I snap my fingers. What is the reason behind that? None. If you think there is then pray about it.
God does not live in your box. He can answer anyone's prayer if He sees fit.
Your life is not written in stone. We are subject to the choices we make. Does God know? Yes, but why worry about that.
I believe in prayer, the providence of God and timing. I don't believe in luck. No doubt being in the right place at the right time can help. I have the best Zara Spook hanging on my wall. It will never catch a fish there. Now if I go fishing with it everyday, I have improved my chances tremendously to say the least. Was it luck?.No, but you can put yourself in a place to succeed. Things happens. Life happens. Luck, no. Prayer, yes. God will probably not do for you what you can do yourself. I see an ink pen. I can reach for it or pray it will come to me. God already gave me the ability to reach for it.
The message today is to pray and pray and pray some more. You have not because you ask not.
