Jeannine Evelyn Gell, 93, formerly of Clinton, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.
She was born September 19, 1931, in Berwyn, IL, daughter of Fred and Ann Blazevich.
In 1964, she was married to Jack Gell.
Jeannine worked as the office manager of the Griffin Clinic in Los Angeles, CA. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, and made many afghans. She loved her cat, Callie, and her dog, Bandit. She was of the Catholic faith. Jeannine will be remembered as a person who cared about others.
Surviving is her son, Dan Riva (Jill), of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Carol Unger (Jerry).
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Stickney, IL.
Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
