Lakeview Heights Parades Neighborhood On 4th Of July

Posted

For the eighth consecutive year the home owners in Lakeview Heights held their 4th of July Parade. Each year the parade consists of 4-wheelers, golf carts and side by sides, all gaily decorated in the patriotic colors of the red, white & blue. And it’s almost a crime to not dress patriotically too.

This is the third year they have gathered at the Eagles for the Parade’s start and over the years it has grown steadily with 21 entries for 2024. The entry fee is canned goods, left at the Eagle’s Lodge and then given to the Benton County Food Bank. Everyone brings along lots of candy to be tossed along the Parade route to Parade viewers. The route takes them from The Countryside Eagles Lodge on H highway and into Lakeview heights, traveling on Roundhouse Avenue to Water’s Edge and then back to the Eagles or home.
