Tickets for the reserved seating at the Cole Camp Fair parades are on sale at Main Street Mutual Insurance, 206 West Main Street in Cole Camp. The price for front row seats is $3, and other rows cost $2 per seat. There will be a drawing each night following the parade for gift cards from Brothers Market or a basket from Cole Camp merchants.
Advanced carnival ride arm band coupons are also on sale at a reduced price until Thursday, September 5, at noon. These arm band coupons may be used at any one 4-hour session for rides on the midway. Ride times are 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Thursday evening, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Friday evening, 12:00 PM-4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon, and 6:00 PM-10:00 PM on Saturday evening. The advanced price will be $25 (a $5 discount from $3 during the fair). Advanced carnival tickets are available at Brothers Market and Main Street Mutual Insurance in Cole Camp and W-K Collision Center in Sedalia.
This year’s Cole Camp Fair is September 5, 6 and 7. A preliminary event on Wednesday evening, September 4th is a 4H and FFA Livestock Show which will be held on the street in front of the bandstand on Highway 52. Food concessions will be available that evening.
New this year is a one-half mile race for kids age 13 and under. This will be held in conjunction with the 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk on Saturday morning, September 7.
Also, a limited number of special t-shirts will be available for sale at the Car Show this year. They will feature some well-known cars to Cole Camp residents.
Pick up a fair book that is available now throughout the business district and think about what contributions you can make towards its success and show how Cole Camp is “Still Cruisin’.”
