Lori S. Kelly, age 66, of Stover, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Warsaw Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Lori was born on May 5, 1959, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the daughter of Charles Nelson, Jr. and Gayle (Barr) Nelson, who both preceded her in death.
A devoted mother, Lori is survived by her seven children: Christopher Potito, Stacy Potito, Timothy Potito (Jessica), Casey Malone, Tiffany Kelly, Austin Kelly, and Alyssa Mathis (Clayton); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy. She also leaves behind her brother, Charles “Chuck” Nelson III, and her sister, Donna Nelson.
Lori had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, who were cherished companions throughout her life. She was also a passionate supporter of the military and proudly contributed to the Wounded Warrior Program, a cause close to her heart.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri.
Her family takes comfort in knowing Lori is at peace and will be remembered for her strong spirit, big heart, and unwavering love for those she held dear.
