This year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) program at Cedar Grove Baptist Church is all about Breaker Rock Beach and how God’s truth never changes!
Every day is an adventure at Breaker Rock Beach, from the morning waves against the shore to evenings filled with bonfires and s’mores! Catch a glimpse of an orca leaping through the surf or watch happy sea lions playing among the rocks beneath magnificent pines. Race along the sand with your brightly colored kite, join friends to make the most amazing sandcastle, or gaze in wonder at the mysteries found in a glimmering tide pool. As the crowds come and go and the tides ebb and flow, Breaker Rock rises majestically as a symbol of strength, standing firm against the force of wind and waves.
Kids will explore their way through VBS in fun locations such as Bible Study at Sandcastle Cove, Tide Pool Crafts, Bonfire Missions, Sea Lion Snacks and Orca Music!
But more importantly, they’ll learn that Jesus is the only way to receive salvation and when we trust Christ as our Savior, He gives us the desire to love God’s Word, obey God, and lovingly tell others about Jesus.

Lunch will be provided daily for all children, and our day will begin with the Worship Rally that gets everyone fired up for a day of learning about Jesus.
VBS is very important, designed to reach people of all ages (specifically for us, our children), leading them to know and respond to Jesus Christ as led by the Holy Spirit. VBS is a fun-filled, spiritual adventure that provides concentrated Bible study and encourages real-life application.
I’m excited about my second year as VBS Director! I look forward to the excitement, the lessons and seeing the joyful faces of children who are learning about Jesus, and may come to know Him as their Savior. Let’s make this a great year for VBS!
