Wildcats Drop 3 Of 4 In Last Week

It was a rough week for the Warsaw baseball team as they lost 3 of 4 games played in the last week, 3 of which were on the road.
Last Tuesday, a 6 run first inning for Eldon helped to bury the Wildcats in a 13-8 final.
Jase Hubert provided 3 of the Wildcats' 9 total hits.
Ryan Fajen absorbed the loss for Warsaw.

On Wednesday in Lone Jack, Warsaw had trouble catching up to the dominant pitching of the Mules in a 5-0 road loss.
Jase Hubert, Kendall Bagley and Bradley Watson picked up the only hits for the Wildcats.
Garrett Ferguson took the loss on the mound.

In Clinton on Friday, the Wildcats dug themselves an early hole and trailed 7-1 at the end of five, but then staged a 4-run seventh inning to come up just short against the Cardinals in a 9-7 loss.
Jayce Depriest and Logan Gemes both tallied 2 hits for Warsaw.
Josh Bunch recorded the loss on the bump for the Wildcats.
Some late errors in the contest didn't aid the Wildcats' cause.

They were forced to come from behind, but Warsaw got back on the winning track on Monday with an 11-5 home win over Adrian.
The Wildcats trailed 4-0, but rallied for 5 runs in the bottom of the second to claim their first lead, 5-3.
Adrian put 1 run back on the board in the third to pull within 1 but 3 runs in each of the fifth and sixth led to the 11-5 victory.
Devon Boul was credited with 3 hits for Warsaw while 2 apiece were added by Jayce Depriest and Brody Burnworth.
Ryan Fajen picked up the win on the mound.

Warsaw played at Lakeland on Tuesday night and will host Fair Grove on Thursday in their final regular season contest.
