The Cole Camp Bluebirds are undefeated at 4-0 after crushing Lone Jack, 47-0 on the road Friday night.
Senior QB Ethan Shearer raced 42 yards for A Bluebirds TD to start off what would be a long night for Lone Jack. The PAT kick by Reid Harrison was no good.
Shearer would later find his favorite target in Owen Ives for a 21 yard TD pass. Shearer rambled in for the 2 point try.
In the second quarter, Ben Steenburgen would add to the Cole Camp 14-0 lead with a 14 yard TD run. Reid Harrison kicked the PAT and it was 22-0.
Mr. Shearer would again show off his wheels with a 15 yard sprint to make it 28-0 after the PAT failed. The whistle blew to stop the bleeding at 28-0 at halftime.
In the third quarter, Shearer would break one for 69 yards for the TD as Lone Jack had no answer for the quarterback.
Just as they were keying in on Shearer, Grady Strathman raced 40 yards for the score and the fat lady tuned up as Harrison kicked the PAT to make it 40-0.
Grant Steenburgen scored from seven yards out in the fourth and it was 47-0 after Harrison kicked the PAT.
Shearer had a huge night going 11-224 rushing with three touchdowns. He also passed for a TD.
