Cole Camp Takes A Pair On The Road In Holiday Matchups

The Cole Camp Bluebirds became road warriors as Christmas drew nigh. On Saturday, December 17,  after defeating Scared Heart at home 37-35 on Friday, the boys in blue beat St. Paul Lutheran 60-43 in the W-K Holiday Shootout in Sedalia.
A big fourth quarter allowed Cole Camp to chalk up the win for their third victory in a row. They trailed 14-13 after one and led by one, 26- 25 at half.
In the third, Cole Camp padded their led to 36-31 but went on a rampage in the final and deciding frame with a 24-12 scoring advantage.
Cole Camp owned the paint with a 28-14 rebound edge and 46-14 scoring edge inside.
With a front line of 6'5", 6'6" and 6'5", Cole Camp makes their presence felt against smaller opponents.
Ethan Shearer had 18 to lead all scorers. Gentry Dieckman tossed in 14.

On Tuesday, Cole Camp traveled to Kansas City to take on Wellington-Napoleon in the 12 Courts of Christmas Classic.
This contest was more to Cole Camp's liking as it was a low scoring affair until the third quarter. It was Cole Camp 8-4 after one and 13-11 at the half.
Cole Camp only committed five fouls and Napoleon 10 throughout the entire contest. The Bluebirds led in rebounds 33-27 and points in the paint 28-16.
Ethan Shearer, Cole Camp's All-State guard from a year ago, had nine points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
Gentry Dieckman, fast becoming a big-time scoring threat, led with 16 points. Elijah Ownes, their powerful running back, led Well-Nap with 11 points.

Cole Camp jumped to 6-2 on the season with a now four game winning streak.
