Local Schools Prepare To Celebrate Class Of 2022

As the final days wind down for the 2021-22 school year, all three Benton County High Schools have set dates for their 2022 graduation ceremonies.
The Senior Class of 2022 at Cole Camp High School will receive their diplomas on May 13 at 7 PM in the CCHS gym.  Thirty-seven seniors will participate in the ceremony.  Class president Kinser Brockman will be one of the speakers at the graduation ceremony.  The two other speakers selected by the Class of 22 will be Kaelyn Teague and Cecilia Thomas.
The last day of school for Cole Camp students will be May 26.  Cole Camp summer school will begin on May 31 and run until June 16 from 8 AM until 3 PM.  There will be summer school classes offered to all grade levels.
The Senior Class of ‘22 at Lincoln High School will also receive their diplomas on May 13 at 7 PM on the high school football field.  Thirty-one seniors are eligible to graduate.  The speakers will be the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 22.
The last day of school for Lincoln students will be May 17 with a full day of classes.  The awards assembly will be held on the last day of school for all students.
Credit recovery classes will begin on May 23 and run until June 3 from 8 AM until 3 PM.  There will be no summer school at Lincoln this year.
Eighty-five WHS seniors are scheduled to receive their diplomas on May 19 at 7 PM on the Randy Morrow football field.  Speakers will be Class of ’22 valedictorian and salutatorian.  The last day of school for Warsaw students will be May 19 with classes being dismissed at 12:34.
Senior awards assembly for WHS will be on Wednesday, May 18, at 5:30 in the WHS gym.  Baccalaureate services will be held immediately after the awards assembly.
The Warsaw Chamber of Commerce Academic Banquet will be May 16 at 6:30 PM in the WHS gym.  Top 15 graduating seniors will receive scholarships.  Top 15 in the junior, sophomore and freshman classes will receive gift cards.  Warsaw R-9 Board of Education member Tracey Martin Spry, WHS Class of 1989, will be the guest speaker.  Tony Berry and Brent Depee will be honored with service awards.
Warsaw summer school will be held at the John Boise Middle School campus this year for students that will be in kindergarten through fifth grade NEXT year (current PK - 4 students).  The dates will be May 24 through June 17, and start/stop times will be the same as regular school days:  Tuesdays through Fridays from 7:59 am to 3:36 pm.
Credit Recovery classes for WHS will begin May 31, Tuesdays through Fridays from 7:59 to 3:35 PM.
