In a pair of games with Tri-County Conference opponents, the Wildcats fell victim of defeat by fairly unparalleled margins.

In the first contest last Monday, Warsaw (2-6) was more than doubled up by the Pintos at California, 74-36.

On Friday night, the 'Cats were dealt another loss, this time at Eldon by a score of 74-60.

With strong offensive showings from the tip-off, Warsaw (2-7) trailed just 20-17 after the first and a tight second quarter kept the Wildcats deficit to single digits at 39-32 at the half.

A third quarter run by the Mustangs stretched their lead to 64-43, but the resilient Wildcats used a run of their own in the fourth but still came up short in the 74-60 final.

Logan Gemes led Warsaw with a game high 27 points. Garrett Ferguson added 10 in the losing cause, all of those coming in the opening period.
