George A. Belsha

George Allen Belsha, age 68, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning, December 14, 2022 at his home.  He was born on May 27, 1954 to Elisha and Irene Belsha in Sedalia, Missouri.
He grew up in Lincoln, Missouri and attended Feaster Elementary, then graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1972.  Following high school, he joined the National Guard where he served for 22 years.  Before health issues forced an early retirement he worked in Sedalia for Dean Machinery, Wolfe Construction, and Kim Originals.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and friends, including camping, exploring, and shooting.  He enjoyed tinkering in his shop, and was especially proud of his projects to restore vehicles, including his motorcycle, VW Bug, and Jeep.
He was united in marriage to Danna Reiter in Sedalia on May 26, 1990.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Danna, of the home, four children, Dustin Belsha, Gabe Belsha (Misty), Shaun Belsha (Mandy) all of Sedalia and Stephen Belsha (Christina) of Jefferson City, Missouri, five grandchildren, Forrest, Emilie, Raegan, Lauren and Keaton, two great-grandchildren, three siblings, Arthur Belsha, Karoline Fitzpatrick and Eula Vaughn, all of Lincoln, eight nephews, three nieces, and other relatives and friends including his beloved pugs, Penny and Tucker.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, Missouri. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Donnie Hayworth officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at the Mt.
