The John Boise Middle School cheerleaders won second place in the Missouri Cheerleader Coaches Association competition held on the University of Central Missouri campus in Warrensburg on Sunday, October 15.
The squad performed a routine consisting of cheers, stunts and a dance. Cheer squads from across the state competed for the coveted awards.
Members of the JBMS squad include: Amelia Roberts, captain, Addison Hill, Kylie Wake, co-captains, Alyssa Boyd, Sabella Ramirez, Kinlea Russell, Abigail Burnham, Alexis Wynn, Chloee Richardson, Lexie Brown, Joshalyn Brown, Kaydence Hoffman, Germani Reser, Hayden Sutherland and Austin Wright,
“I couldn’t be more proud of these girls,” said JBMS Cheer Coach Brooklyn Hetherington. “They did amazing today.”
