Ladycats Come Up Short On Pink-Out Night

In a night where the Ladycats honored those affected by breast cancer, they were pretty in pink, but unfortunately that failed to translate to a varsity win as they lost to Smith-Cotton by scores of 17-25, 13-25 and 19-25.
In the contest: Angela Konopasek: 2 kills, 9 digs; Hailey Ferguson: 1 kill, 1 block, 2 digs; Adison Sherrill: 4 kills, 1 dig; Jaylen McCullick: 1 ace, 19 digs; Tanna Howe: 1 ace, 2 kills, 6 digs; Haylee Cobb: 7 kills, 1 block, 2 digs; Laney Arnett: 9 assist, 6 digs; Kaleby Stevenson: 6 assist, 3 digs; Maylee Slavens: 1 kill; Elizabeth Winters: 1 dig; Mady Reimund: 1 dig; Sara Miller: 1 dig; Karley Keele: 5 digs.
The junior varsity squad defeated the Lady Tigers in two sets.
On Thursday, the Ladycats traveled to Buffalo and suffered another loss, this time in three sets as well; 17-25, 18-25 and 13-25.
The JV squad suffered their first loss of the season to the Lady Bison.  
On Monday night, the Ladycats were on the road again when they took on the Tipton Lady Cardinals. Scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-23 and 25-16 gave them another win and bumped their overall season record to 4-12.
JV got back in the win column, improving their record to 9-1.  
Warsaw hosted Sherwood on Tuesday night for Senior Night and will travel to Eldorado Springs on Thursday.
