The Warsaw girls are getting closer, but can't seem to get over the hump in a couple of winnable games in the last week as they fell to Weaubleau last Tuesday, 66-48 and lost a close one to Stockton at home on Monday, 59-53.

In last Tuesday's game, the Ladycats (4-4) trailed just 13-12 at the end of the first but just 4 points in the second period led to a 25-16 halftime deficit.

The score was 44-30 after the third before a 22-18 margin for the Lady Tigers in the fourth led to the 66-48 final.

Sara Miller led Warsaw with 16 and Tanna Howe had 13.
