CCA Seniors Serve The Community Before Heading To Florida For Senior Trip

Posted

Recently, seniors from Christian Community Academy (CCA) had a fulfilling experience while serving at Christian Social Ministries (CSM) and the W. W. Mann Center. The students embarked on various activities aimed at helping those in need and preparing facilities for upcoming events.
One of the key activities involved packing food into bags for distribution to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Additionally, seniors prepared bags specifically tailored for the homeless population, ensuring they had essential items. Not stopping there, they even offered a unique drive-by service, placing food directly into cars and offering prayers for each recipient.
Beyond food distribution, students also contributed to the preparations for upcoming events at the W. W. Mann Center. Their efforts included tasks like clearing brush, ensuring the campgrounds were ready to welcome campers.
The seniors’ commitment to service extended beyond their time spent volunteering. Remarkably, they also raised funds for their senior trip and generously donated a portion of these funds to CSM and the W. W. Mann Center, demonstrating their dedication to giving back to the community.
As the seniors gear up for their trip to Florida, they reflect on their experiences with gratitude, acknowledging the blessings they’ve received. Their service exemplifies the spirit of compassion and selflessness, embodying the values instilled in them by their faith.
The CCA community extends its heartfelt gratitude to all involved, recognizing the impact of their collective efforts in making a difference in the lives of others.
