A Warsaw woman was seriously injured in an accident at 6:35 PM on May 19 in rural Benton County. The crash occurred as a 1999 Ford F150 driven by Thomas G. Starforth, 48, of Osceola traveled off the left side of Missouri 83 south of Warsaw Ave. The vehicle struck a tree and overturned.
Michelle L. George, 53, of Warsaw suffered serious injuries and was transported to Research Hospital in Kansas City by Lifeflight.
Starforth refused treatment at the scene of the accident.
Tpr. R. W Rosenthal of the Missouri Highway Patrol investigated the accident. He was assisted by Benton County Deputies.
