Lincoln High School Announces 2024 Top Spots And Scholarships

Lincoln High School held their graduation on Donnelly Field on Friday, May 10. Thirty-nine seniors received their diplomas.

One of the speakers at the event was Lexie Dulaban, valedictorian of the Class of ’24.

Dulaban, the daughter of Dusty Dulaban and Jill Kendrick, has attended the Lincoln School System since pre-school.

During her high school career, she was involved in softball, volleyball, basketball, FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, NHS and FCA. Dulaban also coached 12U travel softball.

Next year, Dulaban plans to attend State Fair Community College on an A+ scholarship to become a radiology technologist. Dulaban also received the SFCC

Presidential Scholarship which covers all her expenses for two years.

Dulaban commented that she would miss the connection she had with friends and teachers at Lincoln.

Dulaban’s advice to underclassmen is to “Do what you enjoy. Cut out what you don’t enjoy.”

The salutatorian of the LHS Class of 2024 was Kindle Bartley.

Bartley is the daughter of Kristi White, Troy Bartley, and Theresa Bartley.

While in high school, Bartley was involved in NHS, FCCLA, Marching Band, Flag Corp, basketball and softball.

Her plans for next year include attending State Fair Community College to study business management. She also hopes to train for dog grooming.

Bartley commented that the teachers at LHS were very helpful and helped to get her where she is today.

Her advice to underclassmen is to “Turn in all your work and study before a test,” said Bartley.

She commented that she would miss the senior sunrise tradition at Lincoln High School.

Scholarships for future education were awarded to Lincoln High School graduates at their ceremony on May 10.

Ava Armenta who received a WARM House Scholarship, $1,000; District Board of Trustees Scholarship, $4,200; SFCC Music Performance Scholarship, $1200 yearly (renewable) and Erin Helland Performing Arts Scholarship, $500.

Kindle Bartley received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; Lincoln Hunting Club Scholarship, $1,000; Benton County Extension Scholarship, $1,000; PTO Scholarship, $500.

Taylor Botteron received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, $500; American Red Cross scholarship, $250; Student Council Scholarship, $500.

Matthew Clinkenbeard received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000.

Zaden Cole received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000.

Lexie Dulaban received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; Warsaw Leathernecks Scholarship, $1,000; President’s Academic Excellence Scholarship, tuition and fees paid at SFCC; Edward J. and Norene Sartin Kullman Memorial Scholarship, $788; BDI Scholarship, $500; Benton County Community Scholarship, $1,000.

Mariasol Guzman received the SFCC Music Performance Scholarship, $1200 yearly (renewable); Erin Helland Performing Arts Scholarship, $500.

Madison Hoehns received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; Eken Scholarship, $2,000; Vivan C. Harms Bowles Scholarship, $1,000; Central Missouri Ag Club Scholarship, $1500; National Honor Scoiety Scholarship, $300.

Shelby Jones received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; Main Street Mutual Insurance Scholarship, $1,000.

Allie Keuper received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; K-State Non-Resident Award, $10,124; MFA Foundation Scholarship, $2,000; Benton County Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship, $1,000; K-State Agriculture Student Scholarship, $720 per semester; Children’s Barnyard FFA Scholarship, $500; Darren Eckhoff, Class of 1990 & Estes Scholarship, $500; Benton County 4-H & FFA Youth Fair Board Scholarship, $400.

Emma Meyer received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000; CTA Scholarship, $100.

Audrey Schenewark received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000.

Xavier Smith received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000.

Ella Watt received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000.

Abby White received Main Street Mutual Insurance Scholarship, $1,500 and CTA Scholarship, $100.

Eli Worthley received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000.

Mackenzie Yearout received an A+ Scholarship worth up to $17,000, Leona S. Larson Scholarship, $1,000 and Benton County Health Department Scholarship, $500.
